Hope in Kenya?

Not much to report on the home front today. I was happy to see that Kofi Annan is in Kenya meeting with Kibaki and Odinga. Hopefully a solution will be mediated soon. While watching this on the news today I was so angry at Kibaki. How can a person want power so badly that he would rig the election and allow his country to fall into this state? What is wrong with people!!

One fact I bet you did not know about Kofi...he was born on a Friday. In Ghana where he originates people are commonly named after the day that they are born on. I asked a friend what my name would be and was disappointed to find out that a Thursday born woman is the not so fancy sounding "Yaa".

Hello! - i keep going to the ad for the Kenya travel! It excites me to think that one day, i MAY go to Africa - such a beautiful country with so much to see and experience. Thank you for providing some relevant info. Do you have more personal experiences you have with Africa? (other than what i have read)?

Hello! My Partner is from Ghana and I have developed an interest in his country. There is such a beautiful history and culture that I can not resist! Getting to know the people and traditions has been great and I hope that my children will be proud of both their parents heritage. We are hoping to go as a family next year and I look forward to all the experiences.
